Welcome to History of Magic.
In this class, you will learn about many of the most prominent events that shaped our magical history. Starting with the ancient Egyptians, we will examine how magic was practiced before the time of the wand. We will also discuss events that led to the separation of the two worlds; the Wizarding and the Muggle world. Such events include, the creation of Hogwarts, and the witch burnings in Europe and America.
We will also discuss the separation of society within our own world, specifically the Goblin Rebellions. From there, we will explore the Creation of the Ministry of Magic and the establishment of Gringotts, Wizard Bank.
